HELLO.

ABOUT ME
My whole life I've been obsessed with aesthetics and business. When I was young, I was non-stop starting new business ideas, along side whole branding and marketing efforts. They were never good, but they gave me a head start. By the time I was out of high school I must have had a couple dozen startups under my belt, and I actually started to refine my skillset. When I moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 2019 and started working at Extreme Screen Prints for Dan Lund and Brett Wilson, I found every skill I had learned in life come together. With some guidance and freedom I was really able to discover my capabilities. Unfortunately I miss my home of Orange County, CA and as of now (May, 2023) I am planning my move back. It is now I seek my next phase in my life, and my career.
HISTORY
Director of Business Development
At Extreme I was able to work my way from the press to the office over the span of 4 years. I developed existing skill sets and proudly executed a long list of achievements along side my team. I created everything from logos, websites, sales sheets and pricing formulas, to parking lot maps, department SOP's, business development strategies, sample boxes, and many many tees, including some award winning shop tees.
Owner / Self Employed
Working for myself in Joshua Tree, I was able to develop my communication skills by selling vinyl and graphic work door to door. I helped start a small organization called Shop & Dine 29, where we helped local small business come together to promote shopping locally in our little tourism town.
Stock & Receiving Manager
Face First was my first introduction to being in a screen printing shop, and where I first started to learn about different types of blanks and printing methods. This was my first full-time job, and I worked extremely hard here and grew my passion for screen printing.
SKILLS
I have been around screen printing for many more years, however I started working on press at Extreme in 2019. It was here that I really developed my troubleshooting skills and was able to apply previous knowledge and skills to hands on experience. I later moved into the ink mixing department where I was able to take my experience on press and develop it into more efficient systems and SOP's to train future ink-techs.
Starting with simple spot color separations at Extreme Screen Prints, I later was able to develop my simulated process art separation skills, and have now designed and separated many award winning jumbo simulated process designs. Through learning simulated process separations I further developed my troubleshooting skills and my print engineering skills.
I have worked in Photoshop and Illustrator for almost as long as I can remember, I got my first desktop at the age of 7 or 8 years old, and by the time I was in middle school I was already designing my school shirts, which they actually printed and used for the whole class. I was also designing logos and packaging for my many small businesses I was starting at the time.
Using my knowledge about blanks, my design and separations experience, and my hands on experience, I found a new passion in identifying and educating potential customers. I loved cold calling, creating curated sample boxes, consulting, and discussing potential partnerships with customers. I also loved maintaining relationships with dinners, check-ins, custom gifts, and more.
